The Beer Money BBQ Story
Several years ago, our founder John was invited to join a competitive BBQ team to showcase his locally famous ribs—local meaning legendary in the Lambeau Field parking lot on Packers game days. The ribs did more than hold their own, so the following year John did what any reasonable pitmaster would do: he started his own team.
The roster? Friends, family, and a few brave customers.
The name? Beer Money BBQ—a nod to John’s practical streak and the fact that he already owned the domain BeerMoneyRocks.com from his former life as the bass player in a rock band called Beer Money.
The BBQ is serious. The name is not. The results speak for themselves.
